Mahesh babu Atidhi Review

Atidhi (Maheshbabu) is orphan and taken up by Rajeev Kanakala and his wife when he was child. Amrita (Amrita Rao) is the daughter of Rajeev Kanakala. Rajeev Kanakala decides to join Atidhi in the hostel and while he and his wife were taking Atidhi to the hostel a man stops them and asks for money. He kills Rajeev Kanala and his wife on refusal of giving the money. Police arrests Atidhi saying that he has killed them. Atidhi after spending 13 years in jail comes out and searches for Amrita. He comes to know that Kaiser was the man who killed Rajeev Kanakala and his wife. Amrita meets him accidentally and follows him. Atidhi comes to know that Kaiser even wants to kill Amrita. How Atidhi learns that the girl accompanying him was his childhood friend Amrita and how he saves her from Kaiser is the remaining story.Mahesh babu looks good with his new hair style. His performance very good. Amrita Rao's performance is pretty ordinary and she does not look good in this movie. Sameer Reddy camera work is excellent. Action scenes are good. Malika Arora appears in the guest role in a song and she is good. Comedy is very limited and okay. Film is too lengthy and direction by Surender Reddy is good in parts, but not well on a whole. One can watch this movie for Maheshbabu.

John Apparao 40 Plus shooting progress

The shooting of the talkie part of John Apparao 40 plus being directed by Kuchipudi Venkat with Krishna Bhagwan and Simran in the lead is likely to be completed by October 24. The film's unit will then go to Hungary to shoot for two songs and will return to do a song at a special set erected for the song. The audio of the film will be released in the last week of November while the film would be released as Sankranti gift.

A film being directed by Radha Krishna made under the Firstframe Entertainment Banner with Allari Naresh, Sarvanand, and Sweta Agarwal in the lead is titled Gamyam. The film has completed shooting schedules in Amaravati, Rajahmundry and other places. Allari Naresh's last movie is Pellaindhi Kaani, which was released very recently and running successfully. Don hit screens on December to 20

Don directed by Raghavendra Lawrence and produced by M L Choudhary under the banner of Sri Kirti Creations with Akkineni Nagarjuna in the lead will hit the theatres on December 20, 2007. The film is about mafia clashes between two groups, one from Mumbai and the other from Hyderabad. Lawrence is scoring music for this film. Anushka is the female lead in this movie. This is the second movie in the combination of Nagarjuna and Lawrence after the superhit film Mass.

Podarillu to hit screens on October 26

Shooting of the film Podarillu directed by R. Srinivasa Rao on the banner of Venki Academy with Sivabalaji and Neha Pendse was completed. Post production works of the film were also completed recently. The first copy of the film is ready. The movie will be releasing on October 26, 2007. The film focuses on family traditions and values and revolves around a boy who smartly solves the problems which arise in his hitherto happy family. Naresh, Giri Babu, Poornima and others are in the cast. R. Srinivasa Rao has previously worked with director K. Vijayabhaskar from the time of Nuvve Kaavali.

Naa Manasukemayindi shoots in Bangkok

The unit of the film Naa Manasukemayindhi being directed by Sriram on the banner Satyasai Arts with Paramesh and Sindhu Tolani in the lead is back from Bangkok after canning two songs on the lead pair. This is the debut film for the hero Paramesh. R.P. Patnaik scored music of the film. Suddala Ashok Teja provided the lyrics. Choreography is by Nixon. The editing and dubbing part of the film are already complete and the re-recording is scheduled for the month ending. Audio fo the film would be released in the first week of November and the film is likely to be released in the last week of November.

Shooting of the film being directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and produced by Dil Raju on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations with Allu Arjun and Priyamani in the lead is progressing at a brisk pace. Presently shooting is progressing at Golconda Fort and the fights are being shot under the direction of fight master Kanal Kannan. Choudary and Yalamanchili Gita is the presenter of the film.

BiographyPower Star Pawan Kalyan is the younger brother of Megastar Chiranjeevi. He was born on September 2, 1973. His father's name is Konidela Venkata Rao and mother's name Anjana Devi. He started his film career with 'Akkada Ammayi - Ikkada Abbayi'.
Pawan Kalyan's discipline and dedication comes from the martial arts that he has been practising. To clarify some of the critics comments about his martial arts skills, Pawan Kalyan demonstrated a show amidst a huge audience at Ravindra Barathi. He was awarded the title "Pawan", symbolising Lord Hanuman for his energy. Hence Kalyan was rechristined as Pawan Kalyan.
In 1998, Tholi Prema released. It initially started out low profile but the treatement and the storyline along with melodious and balanced music by Deva took the movie to great heights. Thammudu, another blockbuster followed, is a remake of Jo Jeetha Wohi Sikkandar with a difference that Pawan Kalyan is a kickboxer. Badri, directed by Poori Jagannath starring Pawan Kalyan, Amisha and Renu Desai is carried to a success range solely by Pawan Kalyan.
Kushi, released in 2001, created records. Kushi, his 7th movie, went on to get a gross of 20 crores.By 2002, Pawan Kalyan is shot to such a fame that Pepsi decided to pit him againt their arch rival coke, being promoted by his big brother, Chiranjeevi. Pawan Kalyan is never a media accessible person. Pawan Kalyan, in one of his interviews, commented that he is an artist and hence it's not him but his films that should do the talking.
After Kushi, Pawan Kalyan was in Japan for a brief period learing Akido martial art. That's for his debut directoral film Jhonny. The film had Renu Desai as lead actress. The film did not do great at the boxoffice but the movie has touching moments and became a canvas of Pawan's directoral skills.

BiographyGhattamaneni Mahesh Babu was born August 9, 1974 in Kalyani Hospital in Chennai to Super Star Krishna and Indiradevi. His pet name is Naani. His native village is Burripalem in Guntur district. He did his schooling in Shanti Public School and earned his B. Com degree from Loyala College in Chennai. Mahesh Babu started his movie career as a child actor. He played several roles as child artiste in some of the films where his father played the hero. He acted in the films like Mugguru Kodukulu and Koduku Diddina Kapuram.
He made his debut as hero through Rajakumarudu under the direction of K. Raghavendra Rao with Preeti Zinta as heroine. After Rajakumarudu, his films Yuvaraju and Vamsy were released. The first big hit in Maheshbabu's career was Murari released in 2001 in which he paired up with Bollywood heroine Sonali Bendre.
His next films Takkari Donga and Bobby released in 2002 were not very satisfactory. Next came Okkadu directed by Gunasekhar and produced by MS Raju on the banner of Sumanth Arts in 2003 and proved to be a blockbuster. His film Nijam, which was released in the same year, though failed to prove a commercial hit, but earned him the Nandi Award as a Best Actor.
In 2004, Maheshbabu's films Naani and Arjun were released and once again Maheshbabu bagged Nandi Award as a Best Actor for Arjun directed by Gunashekhar and produced by Maheshbabu's brother Rameshbabu. In 2005, Maheshbabu played hero in Trivikram Srinivas direction with Trisha in the female lead, for Athadu. Once again Maheshbabu bagged Nandi award for his best performance in this film. At the same time, he also received the Best Hero award from Filmfare for his performance in Athadu.
The most memorable film in Maheshbabu's career Pokiri was released in 2006. Directed and produced by Puri Jagannath, the film broke the records of the 75-year-old Telugu film industry history and rewrote the Box Office records. Then came Sainikudu which proved to be unsuccessful. Presently, Maheshbabu is playing hero under Surender Reddy's direction for Athidi being produced by his brother Rameshbabu.
After this film, Maheshbabu had two more projects on hand. One is Mirchi to be directed by Hembar and produced by Dr KL Narayana on the banner of Durga Arts and another is Hare Rama Hare Krishna to be produced by MS Raju on the banner of Sumanth Arts.
Maheshbabu married Bollywood heroine Namrata Shirodkar in February 2005. The couple blessed with a son Ghattamaneni Gautham on August 31, 2006.

Victory Venkatesh was born on December 13, 1960 at Karamchedu in Prakasam district. He is the second son of the producer Dr.D.Rama Naidu and brother of producer Suresh Babu. He is married to Neeraja and has a son Arjun Ramnath and three daughters, Aashritha, Hayavahini and Bhavana.
Venkatesh took to acting after obtaining an M B A in the U.S. He made his debut with the film Kaliyuga Pandavulu in 1986. He received Nandi Award of best debutant actor for this film. Biography

Megastar Chiranjeevi's original name is Siva Shankara Vara Prasad. He was born in Mogaltur of West Godavari district. He is a Commerce graduate. After completion of his graduation Chiranjeevi has opted for acting as his career. He reached Madras and joined a film institute and acquired a diploma in acting. His debut film was 'Punaadi Raallu' but his second film 'Praanam Khareedu' was released first. 'Manavoori Pandavulu' is his first 100 days movie. In the initial stage of his career, Chiranjeevi acted as character artist as well as acted as villain in some films. The turning point in his career was the movie 'Khaidi'. After this movie, there was no looking back and from that date to now he is the king of the Tollywood. He started the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust that involved in running Blood Bank and Eye Bank.

Vijayadasami release on September 21

Shooting of the film Viyajadasami directed by V. Samudra and produced by Edara Ranga Rao on the banner of Sri Sai Sarwajit Productions with Nandamuri Kalyanram and Vedika in the lead was completed. Post-production work and censor formalities were also completed recently. The film is the remake of a successful Tamil film Sivakasi. Saikumar is playing the role villain in the movie. The film is ready to be released on September 21, 2007. The audio of the film was released into market recently and is getting a very good response.

Kantri shooting launched

Shooting of the film Kantri directed by Meher Ramesh and produced by Ashwini Dutt on the banner of Vyjayanti Movies with Junior NTR in the lead was formally launched with puja activities at Ashwinidutt house on September 14, 2007. The film would go to sets very soon. The director of the film is making his debut through this film. He was the director of the Kannada film that was ramake of Andhrawala, which was a big hit.

Ninna Nedu Repu shooting progress

First schedule of the film Ninna Nedu Repu directed by Lakshmikanth Chenna and produced by Nukarapu Suryaprakasa Rao on the banner of SPR Entertainment India Pvt Ltd with Ravikrishna of 7/G Brindavan Colony and Akshara was completed recently. Presently second schedule is under progress. The shooting of the talkie part of the film would be completed in the next 10 days. This film is simultaneously filmed in Telugu and Tamil Languages. While the Telugu version was titled Ninna-Nedu-Repu, the Tamil version's title is Netri-Yandrai- Nalai. The director of the film had earlier directed Hyderabad Nawabs, which was a successful film. Rekha, who played heroine in Anandam earlier, had changed her name to Akshara and is playing heroine in this movie. R. Anil is scoring music for the film. He previously scored music for Sambhavami Yuge Yuge

Rs 999 Maatrame completes shooting

Shooting of the film Rs 999 Maatrame produced by G. Naveen on the banner of Never Nine Creations introducing Parsa Mahendra as director with all new faces in the lead was completed recently. The film is being made with a complete suspense and thriller subject. Four youths who make attempts to make good amount of money, the problems faced by them in the process and how they come out of the problems is the basic storyline of the movie. Presently post-production work is under progress. The film would be released in October as a Dasara gift. The film has no songs.

Bejawada Bujji is the title of Raviteja new movie

Title of the film directed by V.V. Vinayak, presented by D.V.V. Danaiah and produced by Kasi Viswanatham on the banner of Lakshmi Narasimha Visuals with Raviteja and Trisha in the lead is titled as Bejawada Bujji. Shooting of the film is progressing at a brisk pace. As the most of the story has Vijayawada in its backdrop, most of the film was shot in Vijayawada to prevent the missing of nativity. Ramana Gogula is scoring music for the film.

Final schedule of the film Okka Magadu directed and produced by Y.V.S. Choudary on the banner of Bommarillu with Nandamuri Balakrishna, Simran, and Nisha Kothari in the lead is progressing at a brisk pace in and around Hyderabad. The film had finished shooting in Rajahmundry previously. Songs of the film were canned in Australia. According to some sources, the story of the film is based on the life story of Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao. Simran is once again acting with Nandamuri Balakrishna. They previously acted together in Blockbusters Samarasimha Reddy and Narasimha Naidu.

Andarikee Vandanalu shooting progress

Shooting of the film Andarikee Vandanalu being produced by Palavali Jagannatha Reddy on the banner of Bhavishya arts introducing Marudhuri Raja as director with Brahmaji, Raghubabu, and Jeeva as heroes and Swapna as heroine was formally launched at Annapurna Studios on August 24, 2007. The regular shooting of the film has begun in September. The story which begins in a middle-class house ends at State Assembly. The film is being made with a message on social problems with social commitment. Vijayachander of Shirdi Saibaba Mahatyam-fame is playing the role of a school master. Brahmanandam, Venumadhav, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Giribabu, Nuthan Prasad, Sangeeta, Sudha, Abhinayasri, Aparna, Kalyani, Sobha and others are in the cast. Cinematography is by Shankar Kantheti, editing is by Gauthamraju, and art is by K.V. Ramana.
