Idee Sangati completes talkie part

Shooting of the talkie part of the film Idee Sangati being directed and produced by Chandra Siddhartha has completed recently. Tabu is comming back in Tollywood as a lead actress with this film. Abbas and Raja are in the male lead. Recently, the unit had also picturised a song in Hyderabad. The audio of the film would be released soon.The post production work is currently under progress.

Shankar's dream project Robot with Rajnikanth

It is official now that Shankar is doing his dream project Robot with Rajnikanth. Initially, Shankar has approached Shah Rukh Khan for this movie, but Shah Rukh has refused it. This film will be made under the banner of Eros International. A.R. Rehmaan will be scoring the music of this film. This is the second movie in the combination of the trio Shankar, Rajni and Rehmaan after Shivaji. Robot will be produced in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and other languages. Already there are rumours in the Kollywood that Deepika Padukone and Nayantara will be the heroines in this film.

Mahesh babu Atidhi Review

Atidhi (Maheshbabu) is orphan and taken up by Rajeev Kanakala and his wife when he was child. Amrita (Amrita Rao) is the daughter of Rajeev Kanakala. Rajeev Kanakala decides to join Atidhi in the hostel and while he and his wife were taking Atidhi to the hostel a man stops them and asks for money. He kills Rajeev Kanala and his wife on refusal of giving the money. Police arrests Atidhi saying that he has killed them. Atidhi after spending 13 years in jail comes out and searches for Amrita. He comes to know that Kaiser was the man who killed Rajeev Kanakala and his wife. Amrita meets him accidentally and follows him. Atidhi comes to know that Kaiser even wants to kill Amrita. How Atidhi learns that the girl accompanying him was his childhood friend Amrita and how he saves her from Kaiser is the remaining story.Mahesh babu looks good with his new hair style. His performance very good. Amrita Rao's performance is pretty ordinary and she does not look good in this movie. Sameer Reddy camera work is excellent. Action scenes are good. Malika Arora appears in the guest role in a song and she is good. Comedy is very limited and okay. Film is too lengthy and direction by Surender Reddy is good in parts, but not well on a whole. One can watch this movie for Maheshbabu.

John Apparao 40 Plus shooting progress

The shooting of the talkie part of John Apparao 40 plus being directed by Kuchipudi Venkat with Krishna Bhagwan and Simran in the lead is likely to be completed by October 24. The film's unit will then go to Hungary to shoot for two songs and will return to do a song at a special set erected for the song. The audio of the film will be released in the last week of November while the film would be released as Sankranti gift.

Allari Naresh and Sarvanand in Gamyam

A film being directed by Radha Krishna made under the Firstframe Entertainment Banner with Allari Naresh, Sarvanand, and Sweta Agarwal in the lead is titled Gamyam. The film has completed shooting schedules in Amaravati, Rajahmundry and other places. Allari Naresh's last movie is Pellaindhi Kaani, which was released very recently and running successfully. Kamilini Mukherjee is the female lead in Pellaindhi Kaani.

Tamanna to act opposite Allu Arjun

Happy Days directed and produced by Shekar Kammula which was released recently was a big hit. It was first released in USA and then in India, which is first time for any Telugu film. This film is running full houses and attracting especially college students. Another speciality of this film was it has all the new faces in the lead. Tammanna who was one of the lead actresses in in this film was signed opposite Sushant for his forthcoming film Dev. Don hit screens on December to 20

Don directed by Raghavendra Lawrence and produced by M L Choudhary under the banner of Sri Kirti Creations with Akkineni Nagarjuna in the lead will hit the theatres on December 20, 2007. The film is about mafia clashes between two groups, one from Mumbai and the other from Hyderabad. Lawrence is scoring music for this film. Anushka is the female lead in this movie. This is the second movie in the combination of Nagarjuna and Lawrence after the superhit film Mass.

Podarillu to hit screens on October 26

Shooting of the film Podarillu directed by R. Srinivasa Rao on the banner of Venki Academy with Sivabalaji and Neha Pendse was completed. Post production works of the film were also completed recently. The first copy of the film is ready. The movie will be releasing on October 26, 2007. The film focuses on family traditions and values and revolves around a boy who smartly solves the problems which arise in his hitherto happy family. Naresh, Giri Babu, Poornima and others are in the cast. R. Srinivasa Rao has previously worked with director K. Vijayabhaskar from the time of Nuvve Kaavali.

Naa Manasukemayindi shoots in Bangkok

The unit of the film Naa Manasukemayindhi being directed by Sriram on the banner Satyasai Arts with Paramesh and Sindhu Tolani in the lead is back from Bangkok after canning two songs on the lead pair. This is the debut film for the hero Paramesh. R.P. Patnaik scored music of the film. Suddala Ashok Teja provided the lyrics. Choreography is by Nixon. The editing and dubbing part of the film are already complete and the re-recording is scheduled for the month ending. Audio fo the film would be released in the first week of November and the film is likely to be released in the last week of November.

Allu Arjun-Dil Raju film shooting progress

Shooting of the film being directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and produced by Dil Raju on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations with Allu Arjun and Priyamani in the lead is progressing at a brisk pace. Presently shooting of the climax is underway at Kodaikanal. The film would be released in January of 2008. This is the second film in the combination of Dil Raju and Allu Arjun after the superhit film Arya. This is also the second film in the combination of Dil Raju and Bhaskar after superhit film Bommarillu.

Okka Magaadu shoots at Golconda Fort

Shooting of the film Okka Magaadu directed and produced by Y.V.S. Choudary on the banner of Bommarillu with Yuvaratna Nandamuri Balakrishna, Simran, Anushka, and Nisha Kothari in the lead is progressing well. Presently shooting is progressing at Golconda Fort and the fights are being shot under the direction of fight master Kanal Kannan. Post-production works are also going on at the labs at the same time. Manisharma scored music for the flick. Camera is handled by Aravind, story, screenplay, direction and produced by Y.V.S. Choudary and Yalamanchili Gita is the presenter of the film.

Nava Vasantham shooting progress

Shooting of the film Nava Vasantham directed by Shahjahan, presented by R.B. Choudary and produced by N.V. Prasad and Paras Jain on the banner of Mega Super Good Films with Tarun, Akash, Rohit and Sunil as heroes and Priyamani and Ankitha as heroines is progressing well. Presently, canning of the songs is underway. S.A. Rajkumar is scoring music for this movie. The producers are making efforts to release the audio of the film after Dasara and the film as Diwali gift.
